What is the fairest thing to do?

I know that my relationship is over. However I am working on a project that runs until around January 2008 and have a lease that finishes 1 January 2008.

Should I wait until these loose ends are tied up, or should I go now and face the financial consequences.

I am not in any danger and don't fear my partners actions (his emotional response however will be extreme).

Please help me get clear on this

Yep, really selfish! Having waited 5 years for his promises of giving up drinking and dope to come about, or was it the washing cooking and cleaning everything for his lazy ****? No maybe it was his affair and constant sex-line calls that made me selfish...pull your head in. It's now time for me for a change.

It is your life. I say move on and start living it. Every day is precious and might be your last. Why be miserable for nine months. Make changes for yourself now and be happy with your life.

Does your partner know it's over? Could you possibly work it out? Do you still care for your partner? Maybe since you really don't want to leave you should have a very long honest talk with your partner & see how they feel about the situation. Tell them how you are feeling & why you feel this way a lot of it could be misunderstandings. You never know maybe you will find you are not the only one who feels this way. It sounds like you may be having second thoughts maybe you should give it one more chance & try to work things out. If you are definite maybe you could get your partner to move out since the situation is not very good for either of you.

Does your partner know it is over or are you going to wait til Jan '08 to tell them?
