My daddy passed away a year ago to stomach cancer, the thing that is so freaky or mysterious is that my mom's new soon to be husband is just like my daddy, he has the same traits of my dad, he gave me a folded 20 dollar bill just like my dad, he buys me anything just like my dad, he talks about life and religion just like my dad, he tells me jokes just like my dad, he is smart and religious just like my dad,
he got mad at me for not listening to them about not getting a job yet and a day later I dream that my daddy was staring mean at, the point is its really freaky, my mom even notices it to and told me that its as if my dad spirit is inside of my mom soon to be husband, I don't quite understand, please help anyone

I lost my mom many years ago too adn my dad three years ago. I understand how much you are missing your father. I see their signs and their coming nad being around me all the time. I even saw my mother few hours after she passed away. I am very sorry for loosing your father. We some times try to find some of our parents qualities in new people coming in our lives. My dad did not get married to an other woman for 20years till he passed away, because they loved each other very very much and I can not tell you because I do not know but when my son was born, he resemble amazingly to my mom so much that my sister told me it is our mom coming back inside my son. HE is so much exactly like my mom, the same picture of my mom when he was a child is exactly like my son s pictures. But I am not sure about the spirit parts because I do not believe in reincarnations but I do believe that they may send us signs to tell us they are around us adn watching over us. Take care of your self in this such a difficult time and I am very happy for you and your mom

I don't think it's your Dad's spirit living inside your new stepdad. Fact is, your Mum's most probably attracted to him because he possesses certain traits that she's attracted to in the first place, traits which your late Dad had, and which your soon to be stepdad has as well.
Also, because your new stepdad adores you, and wishes to lessen any potential difficulties in adjustment during this transition period, he naturally tries to do certain familiar things that your late Dad did, so as to ensure that this transition is as easy for you as possible.
Your Dad will always remain in your memory and in your heart. You'll always have him as a part of you that'll never go away. Likewise, your new stepdad is now another part of your life. However, they're two different individuals, and can never be one and the same. Instead of focusing on the very general similarities, why not open your mind and heart, and try in your own way to accept the individuality of this new man who loves your Mum and you?

I lost my loved one in 1999 and the ironic part of it is that my dating patterns have been similar. They all look, act or have the same back ground as him. I didn't plan it, they just popped up in my life.
Perhaps it is my mind that see the similarities or they are just coincidences. Don't befreaked out. Go with the flow and see what happens. Good Luck

Your stepfather is just like your dad because that is the kind of man that your mother is attracted to. It's that simple. You can tell a lot about a person from little quirks in their personality. I'm just glad that you like him, and don't despise him. Your mind just likes to play tricks on your especially because you are young and don't fully understand all the complicated human interactions yet.

I am so sorry about your dad. Sweetie, your dads spirit is in heaven. Your soon to be stepdad is probably alot like your dad because thats what your mom looks for in a man. She probably misses him alot too and sees things in him that remind of of your dad, thats why she likes him. You will never forget about your dad and he will always be in your heart! One day your spirit will be with his in heaven.
