Get him in a 29, better yet, a 55. Putting him in a 5 is like putting you in a coffin. Not much room, but it doesn't matter, you're dead. He'll be dead in that 5 in no time.

This is an African cichlid that loves caves and can grow up to 6" if it the blue five line one. It would need a min. of a 30 gallon or a 55 would be best. You can keep it with other African cichlids since its not too aggressive but loves to eat.

Cichlids are very aggressive and may try to kill the shark. But 5 gallons is DEFINITELY not a big enough tank! You should have at least a ten gallon, preferably a 12-15 gallon.
