Steve NASH.. he's good but to win an mvp twice 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 is ridiculous. Now 2006-2007 he's putting up similar numbers / espn and steve kerr of yahoo sports keep hyping out he's opt to a 3rd mvp. Thats stupid man. Many players actually played better during he's two MVP years. And where was Nash and the suns during 2004-2005,2005-2006? I remember they were beaten badly and knocked out by Dirk and the Mavs. The suns didnt even win atleast the western conference and he still took home the trophy. Atleast hand it to those guys who actually put up the W's like 2004-2005 finals Spurs vs Pistons. The entire pistons played great and Duncan/Manu played tremndous. 2005-2006 Mavs and Heat... Kobe's 80+ didnt win? How about DIRK?

From the year he's having and the Hype, I would have to say "King" James. He's mad out to be like Kobe and MJ and he will never get there. At best, he will be like Karl Malone, a great Hall of Famer, but not the best and if the caves don't do something in the next 3 to 4 years, he will never get an MVP or any rings! But thats just my 2 cents!!!

I'd have to go with either Steve Nash or Dwayne Wade. Nash has won two straight MVP's so he certainly can't be underrated, but I'm not sure he is as valueable as people say he is. You can't honestly tell me that if you put Lebron James in there with Amare and Marion he wouldnt win 70 games. Dwayne Wade is just another guard who feeds off the attention Shaq brings to the defense. He plays defense, but not great defense so the comparisons to Michael should stop. I would still ultimately pick Nash.

To me its gotta be Lebron James. He makes all the money and ESPN hypes everything he does so much b/c God forbid they were wrong. He is not the next Jordan and he wont even be considered the best player of this era.
He doesnt play a lick of defense. While Kobe, Duncan, Dwyane, Garnett and alot of other great players are also great defenders - Lebron gets away with playing just on 1 side of the ball.
Players who leave their team to join the Cavs actually regress instead of getting better, speaks volumes that he doesnt know how to play "team" ball. Guys who were considered damn fine players go to the Cavs and suck b/c Lebron holds the ball for 22 seconds and then passes off forcing one of these players to take a shitty shot and then he bitches at them. Damon Jones, Donyelle Marshall, Larry Hughes to name a few.
Last - he doesnt show up at all during the 4th while players like Dwyane and Kobe carry the team during the 4th. Example: i was watching a Cavs/Heat game this season - Dwyane Wade outscored the entire Cavaliers team in the 4th alone and finished with like 41 points (24 in the 4th) while Lebron had just 6-7 in the 4th on something like 2-7 shooting. Entering the 4th the Cavs were up by 4 and lost by like 6. A 10 point swing b/c Wade CARRIED them while Lebron and the Cavs simply disappeared when it mattered.
Overpaid - overhyped - overrated - Lebron James

I have to say Kenyon Martin. He was awesome in New Jersey because Jason Kidd gave him all pinpoint passes. After he left New Jersey becos of a max contract which he didn't really deserve, he is now nursing injuries after injuries and resting with his huge contract. Tough luck Denver but I hope A.I. and Melo will bring u some luck!

Answer to #1 - maybe Dwyane Wade. Miami has won 9 straight without him, but I still think they need Wade for the playoffs.
#2 - Definitely Mike Bibby of Sacramento. He's paid big bucks but he doesn't make his shots, cant even get his team to the playoffs this year.

i think carmelo anthony is overpaid and over-rated. this guy has not proven anything yet, he has a fat paycheck, has his own signature shoes under the jordan brand, common give me a break. he's not even a good role model after being involve in the NY-denver rumble. the nuggets is a mess even with AI on their team.

Except David Lee, the New York Knicks' roster is overrated. Starbury, Francis, Jeffries, Curry, Q-Tip and more.
