I would like to know if people with mild scoliosis can go on roller coasters. Cause I'm going to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday, and not sure which ones would be okay to go on.

I have it also, the only thing that bothered my back was the Texas Giant, it is a wooden coaster, but only cuz my father got bounced into me and it hurt bad. But other than that you should be good.

Most roller coasters have notices that if you have back problems that will be agrivated by the ride you should not ride. Really the only one who would be able to know your tollerance level is you. But you probably should ask your doctor what they feel.

If you are going to SFMM in general the newer coasters are smooth but are still going to throw you around. But you probably should stay off of Collossis which is a Wooden Coaster and Gold Rusher these are probably the two roughest in the park.

It would be safe to ask a doctor who deals with scoliosis, but it's also good to use your own judgement and be aware of what your limits are. Most every roller coaster you will ever encounter advises people with back problems not to ride, but it's just that--advice.

Mild scoliosis is okay. More than 75% of people have minor ones. So you can go on the rollercoaster. But if you go on it more than like suggestly.... 50 times. It can be harmful to your body.

Many amusement parks do require that you sign a release form if you have a medical condition that may be aggravated by particular rides. You may want to check with your doctor prior to the trip and with the park's 'guest relations' area upon arrival at the park.
