YEAH but i dont want them to shuffle.

My solution:

I am now joining these mp3s into one mp3 file. Then I am using itunes and changing the file name to make itunes think its an audiobook. It works :)

Well, you can't put it in the audiobook or podcast sections, but there's a way to do what you're trying to do, I know from experience.

First, select all of the tracks from the comedy CD, and change their Genre to Comedy. Now, make a new Smart Playlist, name it All Music (or whatever you want, really), with these parameters:

Podcast - is false
Genre - is not - Comedy

This will make you a playlist that contains just your music, and not the comedy tracks, so that those won't get shuffled into the mix. Now, select all those tracks again, and right-click, and click "Get Info". Now, change Compilation to "Yes". This will group that set of songs into a compilation.

Now when you go to your iPod menu, go to Music, then Compilations, and you should see your set of tracks there. If they're in order, make sure you turn off Shuffling before playing them to avoid mixing up the order.

E-mail me or IM me if you need more info!

If it's something that you would normally never listen to in segments, the easiest thing to do for starters is to link everything into one track when ripping it. To do this, highlight all of the tracks on the CD before ripping it, click on the Advanced button, and select Join Tracks. This will import the entire CD as a single track from start to finish (keep in mind that this will also mean you can't easily skip through to favorite bits).

Another helpful thing you can do is create a new playlist just for that CD and import it to your iPod. Do not put any of those CD tracks in any other playlist. You can now access it by the new playlist, by the album name, or by the artist (assuming it's just one person and not a group of comedians).

Also, if you highlight all of the tracks after ripping them to iTunes, you can right-click and Get Info. Down at the bottom of the window that appears there will be a selection for Skip While Shuffling. You'll want to select that to prevent it from ever accidentally playing when you're in shuffle mode (though keep in mind that you probably won't be able to make it play without exiting shuffle mode).

As for putting it in the Podcasts section, yeah, it's probably possible, but all of your typical podcast rules would then apply to it. So, if you've got iTunes set to delete played podcasts, it'll go away. If it's set to only upload unplayed podcasts, it'll always get sucked off your iPod when syncing after you've played it and won't go back on until you've marked it as unplayed. Far simpler to just use playlists for their intended purpose, which is to split up your tracks however you want them, like the twelve different Beatles playlists that I have for various different reasons.
