I met Anne Rice in November 2005 for her signing of Christ the Lord.
She recently had gastric bypass surgery (and she looks great now).
I saw the short-lived disaster of Lestat the musical on Broadway.
Anne's birth name is Howard (after her grandfather), but on her first day of school she told her nun teacher her name was Anne because she was embarrassed about having a boy's name.
