The word is jaundice or physiologic jaundice that affect some infants for the first few days after birth. Using UV light or sunlight is enough to cure this problem.
Yellow discolorations of the skin, white of the eyes, etc, are some of the symptoms----the confusion come in when hepatitis has similar symptoms as well. Best to consult a doctor before doing anything.

Do you mean jaundice? If you are talking about a baby developing jaudice take this serious because it can lead to loss of hearing, impairments, etc.
