No. It was the right thing to do. It should have been done under the Clinton administration but he lacked to the balls to make a decision of that magnitude.

Iraq demonstated it had no intention of following the stipulations of the agreement signed after the Gulf War. It remained defiant to the UN in regards to the weapons inspectors, it continued to shoot at Coalition Aircraft, and STOLE BILLIONS of dollars from the UN under the guise of Oil for Food. He let his people starve, die of illness due to lack of medicines, and built brand new palace complexes with the money he stole.

We should have done this in 1998.

I believe it was just a matter of when. And it was absolutely necessary to launch an attack and stop surmising while we suffer underhanded attacks, it had to be done to bring the cockroaches out of their holes. So we can better see who our adversaries are. Sad but true. And much good has been done with the ending of Saddam's reign as well. It's obvious now the extent of Arab hatreds, no smile to the face and stab in the back. We will meet them face on. And we will not allow this sneak out stab someone and run back cr*p, kidnap, decapitate send movies cr*P, it will have an end put to it.Take a look at the troops, Iraq, you need to clean your own closets and get your act together if your even gonna have a country!

No, for the war, Clinton should have done something about it but didn't, needed more troops there at the beginning, and have to finish what we started. Also, we CANNOT let any of the terrorist factions take power there, or else we will have to deal with a country led by Jihadists who want to control the world.

Whats done is done, nothing new under the Sun.
I am opposed to the occupation of any foriegn soil by a Democratic Republic or any other country. If a country is killing people just becuase of some stupid reasoning, yes, we should help the people the stupid reasoning harms.
WWII we helped some other countries with some other countries, that was ok.
Every war after war and action after that where America went in solo and occupied was as stupid as the war itself.
War is stupid. Evil people start wars, good peoples stop tyranny.

Yes, it was a mistake. We have weakened ourselves in so many ways because of it. Now we can't get out honorably no matter what we do. Could this be a the largest single foreign affairs blunder in American history? It has all the markings of being just that.

It was a mistake to send troops. Dropping Hydrogen bombs would have been better.

It was a mistake. We have created more terrorists by this act than anything else in the past 30 years. And that's a fact.
