Here is my experience: If the Y!A Violation resulted in a point deduction then you will get an eMail notification. However, if the Y!A Violation does not result in a point deduction, then you will never know about it. You may notice that your answer or question are "gone", but you will not loose points. This is my own experience and have no actual knowledge that this is the process implemented by Customer Care at Yahoo!.

You get an E-mail telling you that you got a violation. I have gotten three of them.

you get an e-mail telling you have just been reported for violationing the rules sucks but it has happened to me many times before :(.
