Not likely a problem with the computer tower; more likely just Internet traffic.

may be this is tower problem, but this is not usually happens.
may be ur using less memory bits on ur PC, it ma be cause of slower net. normally we use 256 mb memory on Pc but after using 128 mb tht's y.
well may b ur Pc is suffering from a virus . just check it out

internet speed is based on collective users on your network. computer internet speed is based on your ram then the speed of your CPU/bus speed/ and available hard drive space.
so increase your ram if possible.
