If u r talking about Fantasy Basketball, I will take Kobe simply becos he can shoot free throw better than Lebron and he can score more. But if it real basketball team, I will take Lebron simply becos he is younger and has more potential to be a triple double threat. I do admit Kobe has a few rings under his belt but with all those negative publicity, I do not like him to be the face of my basketball team (no offense as I am not a Kobe hater - but business is business). I like Lebron more and I believe he will eventually get a championship.

Kobe Bryant hands down. I would rather have plenty of players over Lebron, he is overrated and another guy id rather have is Dwyane Wade.
Here is why: Kobe (and Dwyane) are OUTSTANDING defensive players. Kobe has been named to 6-7 all-defensive teams in his career while Lebron doesnt play a lick of defense. He is a liability on the defensive end while Kobe is a big time player ALL AROUND. Something Lebron doesnt know about. Lebron is only a force on the offensive side and even then he is horrible in the 4th quarter while Kobe and Dwyane take over games in the 4th Lebron stands back and doesnt have the nuts that the other two have. Lebron is half the player right now that Kobe is and will never ever ever measure up to MJ.

I'd take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James anytime.
Don't get me wrong, LeBron is a great player but he's not the same caliber as Kobe.
Plus, Kobe shoots better free-throws compared to LeBron.

I would definitely want Kobe on my team before Bron. Kobe
is the best all around player in the NBA. He has been to the finals four times in his career and won three rings already. Bron is good and is going to get better, but he is no MICHAEL JORDAN!!!!!!!!!!!! Kobe has that killer instinct and wants to win everytime he steps onto the court. everybody's always hating on Kobe. saying he's selfish, a dirty player, a liar,cheater, arrogant, and so on. they need to stop drinking that haterade and just accept the fact that he is the player on any sports team in the world right now. when Bron accomplishes what Kobe has , then maybe yall can compare him to KOBE.

stats wise maybe he'll get close to mj. but he's no mj. totally different people totally different players.. i'd sign kobe. he's a ball hog alot of times but man he can shoot his @ss off. lebron can't get near him
