haha, thats funny. I would say naked because he probably already has a hole home he sleeps in
One time a turtle on the news lost his leg and they screwed in a wheel to his shell so he could move. It was cute and funny.

good question. I would say naked. They will like dig holes in the ground to live. So I guess that would be its home. I know some kinds do that. like box turtles.

Naked regardless, but since the shell is its only protection the question is moot and predators ate them all before we got to know them. See what I mean?
