wwe puts people in the hall of fame that done many great things during their career in the business. owen hart and brian pillman did things but they never were the biggest stars in the wrestling business. Other wrestlers like big boss man, mike awesome, the sheik, the von erich family and the others that died would also be put in there if that was the way they put wrestlers in the hall of fame. to be in the hall of fame you had to be the best of the best not just average

I think both Brian and Owen should be in the hall of fame. Both men were awesome athletes. Brian was a true hero. He suffered many health issues all his life and still managed to do what he loved. Owen was overlooked all his life because of the fame Brett had. Those two men should be at the top of the list of inductees this year. But just as when they were alive..they most likely will not ge the respect and opportunities that they so rightly deserve and have earned.

The hall of fame has only been going as a major event before 'mania for the last few years so they can't put everyone in at the same time, there are literally thousands of wrestlers from all over the world who have contributed to the popularity of it and to be fair to McMahon he does recognise that, not just the wwf/wwe but all his contemporaries with the possible exception of tna which is relatively new and who feature a lot of ex- wwe wrestlers anyway. I don't think that anyone could deny that Kurt Angle should be in there!

give the hall of fame some time and they will do the right thing and vote in these great superstars, Eddie's vote to get in was just not even a ? to the hall of fame because of who he was and what his family done for pro wrestling. Not to take anything away from the Hart family or anything.

I think they will all get there time.I think the whole Owen thing may cause some controversy that Vince is probably not ready to deal w/,since there was a lawsuit after the death and bad blood between him and the family,he's probably just trying to steer clear of it all.Or maybe he already wanted him inducted and was denied,Bret Hart didn't even agree to be inducted at first!Plus Mr. Perfect is being inducted this year, which he is greatly deserving of the spot,so maybe they try to get the majority of the people in while they are still living?!I think that everybody who should be there will get their spot at one time or another!!

Owen died from an accident that stemed from a miscue at a show, and it is truely one of the darkest moments in WWE history. That and the fact that his brother Bret was more known, I think they wanted Bret to be in first before Owen.

As for Pillman, the WWE hall of man really does not include time in WCW or ECW and well, his time in the WWE was really more of a flash.

For the same reason that countless other dead wrestlers are not in the hall of fame, being dead doesn't make a hall of famer. But Eddie was at the top when he died, so he deserved it.

dying doesn't qualify you for the hall of fame. I don't think either of these guys where top wrestlers for extended period, perhaps you could argue for owen but certainly not pillman

the wwe does not like putting too many dead wrestlers per year in the hall of fame because dead superstars do not bring in ratings, there are two this year already mr perefect and sabus uncle the sheik
