all states may be different I heard that is was 800.00 in Illinois before they will go after you

It depends on the state youre in. Some will start drawing from the persons paychecks if theyre working, others after a certain amount will just put the offender in jail. Best to contact your social worker or whomever is helping you receive your child support and find out what it is for your state.
