I am seriously getting frustrated with the Yahoo! Answers voting system.
I've been in the Voting category for quite some time today, and I've noticed a certain pattern. It seems strange that the worst, most incomplete, most idiotic "answers" (such as "I don't know", or suggesting ridiculous ''solutions'' to serious problems) get the most votes, or any votes at all. And yes, usualy it's one vote, or two if the user cared to make another account and vote for his/her self.
Well, if there are only so few votes for them, it can't hurt can it? Guess what? It can and it does, because so few people actualy care to vote. Yahoo obviously didn't think this through when they created this site.

So, what are your thoughts?

P.s. This is also a reminder to everyone to go vote [NOW], and pick a best answer for their own questions when it's more than obvious what the best answer is, instead of letting people vote. Please do something to help straighten out Yahoo!'s faulty voting system.

And they vote for the answer on the top even if the answer is short like "no". how hard is it to scroll down and read all the answers before voting.lazy voters only care for a point.

I happen to love to vote, but I cant get up to the final limit just yet...
I love the thought of closing out the leftover questions...
It clogs up the system to leave them out there unanswered...
I also vote for myself when I remember to check, sometimes it's the only vote I get...
I like that option cause otherwise, it could be a tie breaker and when no one votes you get nothing...
So many people do not see all the questions and answers cause a lot of people stay in one category and wont budge...
That is something I do not understand...
I choose all categories to help out more folks...
It is a much wider range of info if you move around like that...
Yahoo needs to give up on the thumbs up during the entries cause those thumbs up don't amount to any points...
Only the thumbs up on best answers count...
There is no incentive to thumbs up during the question...

maximum consumers answer inquiries to the terrific of their wisdom. If the asker is basically too lazy to p.c.. a BA, why shouldn't the answerers be waiting to vote for their very own solutions in the event that they have self assurance that's relatively useful? working example: a consumer needs to understand how he can get admission to a hacked account, I placed up an answer i understand to prevail and my answer keeps to be the only one - ought to I no longer vote for myself? To me factors are not that substantial, yet I consistently do no longer forget that once a question is resolved, it is going to come approximately in the Yahoo archive so different consumers might locate an answer for their question!

I love to vote for my own questions and answers and I also love to help others by voting on their answers as well...
I hope it helps the Yahoo system to get the voted ones out of the way so we can all concentrate on all the other available questions and answers...
I hope they keep the votes...

You are one mad cup cake don't let this frost you . Many questions would just go into limbo if people wouldn't vote for their answer and what if it's the best one should you not then get any points for your time and effort? Even the playing field and do it your self also and just have some fun .

Yahoo! allows voting for one's own answer as Best Answer, because in real life candidates are allowed to vote for themselves (in effect, he or she is saying : I am Best Answer).
