I have years of school left but Ive been considering the Marines. I plan to apply for the FBI intern program and military background will be much help at my goal. Is the Marine Corps the best to join for my situation?

Knowing F.B.I. S.A.'s, I can tell you the best way to be accepted by the F.B.I. is a degree in accounting, and is the most desired of all qualifications for the Agency.
Military service in and of it's self isn't all that good, unless in policing or intelligence areas...and a degree is a requirement today for F.B.I. recruitment

The Navy! They have some of the best education programs in all the branches of service. The best part is that you can fill your schedule with schooling and not have to do any regular work. As long as you are getting education that's almost all you have to do. They have great programs of their own and have proffessors from many top colleges who take time off from campus to go on tours shipboard and at the bases. A great education if you take it! The marines train you to kill. And the navy is in charge of Marine Corps Justice.

Any branch would be good for you, as they all have legal training. Being in the Marines would look good on a resume, though.
