I've shed bitter-sweet tears to "And so it goes" by Billy Joel, and "The Washing of the Water", by Peter Gabriel. Another sad favourite is "All I Want is You," by U2.

1. somebody's hero, by jamie oneal... this one gets me because i have a little girl, and it makes me think of all the wonderful times we will have throughout our lives together
2. he gets that from me, by reba macentire... this one because the first time i ever heard it, i was pregnant, and my husband joined the army, i was worried this song would be my future.. (me and my kid with a dead daddy) i balled like a baby for HOURS the first time i heard this song.. i called up my husband and begged him not to join the army!!
those two still get me EVERY TIME!!!!
