I want to buy an album or two by each of the following bands, by I'm wondering which to start on. What's the best album by these bands for someone who's heard very little of their music before?

and I see you didnt mention Carcass-The Peel Sessions their a great band also.

For Children of Bodom I'd suggest you get Follow the Reaper. It has a pretty good sampling of what CoB sounds like at the peak of their musical skill. And it's got some of their best songs.
Then get Something Wild, it's their first album and all the guys in the band were only 17 when Something Wild was recorded, that makes it extra special. It's also the most epic album they've released and it's more melodic than their other stuff.
As for the other bands, I'm not familiar enough with their albums to suggest what ones you buy. But you seem to have great taste in music so I'm not worried about you at all.

peoples r having different views and different interest. just see whats ur interest and buy it. then only it will be worth.
