Do you guys think a musical with no real plot would have a strong chance for box-office success on todays silver screen. Although it wouldnt have a plot it would have a few occasional comedic skits which also would invole dancing. And the other "ringers" would be that it would be packed with a bunch ofyoung beautiful women(preferably REAL talenetd dancers[not actors]), dancing to great, upbeat music(i assure you; great music). furthermore it wouldnt be any hip-hop type break dancing stuff, but good-old fashion jazz-type dancing with "super-style". the movie also would be packed with cutting edge fashion.

I think that today people don't care about musicals anymore for the most part. Oklahoma, Music Man, Tommy, all those were classics...but would be lost today. People want special effects etc. It really is sad how bad movies are these days.

Maybe as a Broadway play or something like that. I don't think it would do well as a movie though.
