Dwight Howard is up there for me! He is a monster, puts up monster numbers and never gets the respect he deserves! After him it has to be Josh Howard, Zach Randolph and Ben Gorden

The most underted player in the NBA I beleive is Marcus Camby. This guy is one of the best player at his position in the NBA. When Camby play good, so does the Nuggets. He is 1st in blocks and 4th on rebounds this year. He always averages a double double and even with injuries he is in the top 3 for block evey year( very impressive). With all this from a player Camby has never been am All Star or a All Team Defensive play. That is a tragity.* I never thought I would say this but after listening to yahoo say that Phili got the better of the A.I. trade, its seems like people are also underestimating the phenomenal play the A.I.*
The most underated team I think would be up until resently San Antonio. All you hear about is Dallas and Pheonix this year. Has American forgot about what San Antonio has as a team. They will be in the Western Confrence Finals whoever they have to go thru. Another underated team I think is Golden State. Everyone is counting them out of making any impact on the playoffs but I think America has also forgot that they have completely revamped their team and that player like Pietris, Davis, and Richardson are now finally healthy. This is a team that is completely different from the team they had in December, January and Febuary. Watch after them in the West.

There are lots. Marc Gasol, Jrue trip, Brook Lopez, Omer Asik , J Smith (aka J SMOOVE!!!), supply Hill (might've been the subsequent huge factor if it wasn't for injuries), Manu Ginobli, Kevin Love, Chandler Parsons (heck sure!!), Stephen Curry, Nikola Pekovic, David Lee, Serge Ibaka, Nate Robinson, Ty Lawson, Mike Conley, Kemba Walker, Paul George, Klay Thompson Shout out to supply Hill for a great profession. If it wasn't for ankle problems he could have been blanketed in the Jordan Kobe Lebron debate!

Michael Redd is the most underrated player.
Golden State Warriors are underrated, yeah they have a bad road record, but how many times have they played with a full-healthy lineup. They kill when everyones healthy.
GO WARRIORS!

steve nash.....(first of all this is not biased because I'm a die hard Mavs fan)..... he has won 2 mvp's and still doesnt get the credit he deserves. He is a phenomenal passer and creates for marion and amare. They are averaging a losing record when he is not in the lineup. Everyone is always talking about Kobe and D-wade when the suns have the second best record. Kobe and D-wade wish they could be as smooth and as good a passer as he is.

in terms of underrated player, i would have to say its the role players. players who come in and do their thing with minimum fuss. they might not stand out in a particular category, but they do play hard when given the opportunity. to me, im thinkin of player slike Luke Walton and Shane Battier.
since Walton went down the Lakers struggled. he has come back and his triple double ability has helped his team 10 fold. he doesnt need to be a scorer to be such a great influence on his team.
Battier is a hustle player. diving for loose balls, setting picks and taking charging fouls. again he doesnt do a lot to stand out, but he chips in across the board. not to mention things u dont see like taking charges and knocking balls loose.
in terms of underrated team...id say the Hawks. they have so much talent around that team with the young nucleus of Williams, Johnson, Childress and Smith. theyre a few peices missing, but they have the tools to be a damaging team

i think amare stoudemiere is a good candidate for being underrated. not many people know him and he's an awesome player. i've seen him carry that phoenix team on many occasions. i don't care for the dude but he deserves props. tayshun prince from the pistons too. you hear alot about rasheed and rip and billups but it's pretty quiet when it comes to tayshun. he's a great basketball player. "raises glass"
