I was fired yesterday from my job because I guess it looked like I was taking a nap at my desk and not working, but really I was still working as I was testing my keyboard for drool resistance. Do you think my boss will ever admit to his mistake and let me come back or should I start looking for another job?

Although chances are slim they would take you back, what do you have to lose by asking. And don't give him the BS you werte testing the keyboard fordrool resistance.

Meanwhile, start looking.

The good news is that your sense of humor is still intact. With that you can recover many setbacks. My recommendation is that you start looking for what is next, and take this as one of those learning experiences. Fired is rarely reverse able with an at-will employer, unless you have a really good case for consideration.. Yours, though comical, is not one I would expect to be too redemptive in approach.

drool testing is a very hard job to get so you better try to find a new job try finding one where you can test chairs to see how fast they put you to sleep
