Would you go to mexico to build a house during your spring break? Give up your plans and expensive vacations to help out a family? I mean, its only a week of your life, so why not spend it on something more meaningful than reality shows and sports.

Do you live close to the border by any chance? It is a dangerous experience in most parts of Mexico. Why not help the poor in the U.S.

You're going to do a Habitat for Humanity project? Great idea... you'll have fun working with people from all over, learn new skills, see a new area in a much more intimate way that as a tourist, and may make new friends!

Go for it! And then take at least 2 days on a beach..you deserve a rest too :)

Ofcourse if ever I would get a chance i would do something on which i can be proud of in front of my children & students & from which they can learn a gud lesson

Not at this time. There is too much crime in Mexico. If it were peaceful there, then I would go help.

i would go to mexico if i was on a cruise line that visits places like Belize and Costa Maya. something relaxing like that

i'd go on a missionary trip instead.....it's more worth while. or help somewhere near by in the US.
