Not so much the darkness but certainly the quiet.
As I've aged I appreciate (in fact, I seek) the sound of silence more and more.
Gone are my days of blasting out Neil Diamond's "Hot August Night" LP.
I now have to endure my daughter's remixes of "real" music I listened to a life time a go.
What comes around........
