gr8 Q!
if i ruled the world and had to do something for humanity, the first thing i would do is remove all types of differences that we humans have created upon each others like distinguishing on the basis of :
religion,
color,
race,
caste,
breed,
cult,
etc..
that itself would solve all problems like wars, riots, mass destructing weapons, etc.. which are a curse to humanity.
also i would make it mandatory for all to make charitable contributions that lead to equality.

Well a ruler can hardly "change humanity". But i suppose I'd work very hard to educate people that all religion is false and a waste of time. Then all of the great minds can work on SCIENCE instead of how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

To remove all vehicles that use gas-no cars, no planes, etc. It would DRAMATICALLY change the planet on almost every level-no oil wars, environment healing, relationships, human connections, a balancing of lifestyles. People would have to walk, ride bicycles, talk to each other, etc. Getting rid of televisions would have amazing results too!

Worldwide disarmament. We've got enough nuclear weapons to blow up the world several hundred times over, and far too many powerful guns than a sane person needs. I'd just require anyone who wants to hunt to do so with an old fashioned muzzle-loader...to keep it challenging.

To make every thing free to every one. People did not have to pay for drugs, foods, vaccines any basic necessities.
Money is the number one main source of our problems all over the world today

to educate the world of how instead of causing wars to kill others we are also causing a war with the world by using what we dont have anymore and education is the only way that people will learn to respect their home of billions.
