1. Parents do not pay attention to their children. Kids get plopped in front of their computers, television, and video game consoles and parents ignore them until they all fall asleep.
2. Healthy people have more energy and their bodies work more efficiently. Both characteristics help improve quality of life. Thinking clearly is one such quality improvement.
3. I'm not sure this one made sense, but I'll give it a stab. Unhealthy lunches generate more revenue for the school. Schools are not in business to make money (they should be, but that is an essay entirely in itself). The goal of a school lunch should be to nourish students and provide them with the fuel needed to have a productive afternoon of learning.
4. I would assume it is fair to say that people who eat healthy lunches are healthier people. I think it is also safe to assume that healthy people get sick less often as their bodies are better prepared to fight off infections, viruses, and any other sickness causing agents. This added healthy time provides individuals with extra time to be productive in whatever it is they do.

1.Obesity rate in children is high because many parents work and purchase either fast food meals or product unhealthy microwave meals instead of making fresh homemade foods. Which could be healthier and tastier.
2. Can't really help you on this one because I don't know much about it
3. Schools need people to purchase lunches so they can receive grants for more money, but producting cheaper unhealthy lunches are cheaper
4. Well eating healthy is linked with healthier people but that is not always true

This is what I think.
1.Obesity rates are too high in kids today because when they are young, their parents say "Finish eating your dinner or you won't get dessert." and other threats like that.Since the children are taught at such a young age to finish their food whether they are hungry or not, they continue the habit throughout childhood, and possibly into adulthood..They eat when they aren't hungry, therefore, they become obese.
2.Healthy people think more clearly than unhealthy people because healthy people's bodies are in top condition.Unhealthy people's bodies aren't in top condition. They may have poor nutrition,no exercise, and illnesses. That sort of thing impairs ones thinking.
3.Those people are just trying to help out all of the students.
4.You are what you eat.If you eat healthy food, then you are healthy. If you eat unhealthy foods, you are unhealthy.
