Unless there were serious complications leading to the inability to carry a child to term, no. When a woman has a miscarriage and has to undergo a D&C, it's basically the same type of surgery they do in abortions. I've personally had 2 abortions and 1 miscarriage and now i'm pregnant again and everything is perfectly fine. My OB assured me that past abortions or D&C's have no effect on future pregnancies. The human body has an amazing ability to heal itself and bearing children is what we naturally do. You shouldn't have any problems at all.

If the female went to a good doctor that carried out the proceedure properly--no discount back alley doctors ok? not an area where you want to save a buck--she should be fine barring no complications occured.
Always follow the doctors instructions for after care whatever they may be.
It's important, after that sort of proceedure to have a follow up with your doctor to make sure everything has healed properly.
But really, in this day and age, there is no reason it should cause a woman to not be able to have children in the future. Since it's a legal proceedure, there is no need to go to some shady guy with a rusty scaple like in the movie Dirty Dancing ;)
And a good doctor will go over all of the potential risks and complications before doing anything.
