What are some reliable prepaid cell phone companies?
If not, what kind of phone would you recommend for a first-time cell phone buyer?

prepaid cellphones can actually be more expensive. If you have a cellone around you i would go there. You can get unlimited minutes for 50.00 dollars a month. If you get a prepaid than they can be a lot more a month.

I have had a go phone from Cingular and a XE Mobile.. They both are pretty easy to under stand..

pre-paid most likely will come out to being more than a plan cingular and sprint are good for plans but if you hav ur heart set on pre-paid then i would say get a razor fone, their cute and easy to use
