Are you exercising more than normal? That can also make it late. Just take a deep breath, relax...take a test...and don't worry too much. You may have not ovulated, or your body may just be skipping one. It does happen.
If you do become more irregular, and you're not pregnant, have your doc run a hormone panel, just to make sure nothing else is going on. Good luck!

Lots of things can cause you to skip, miss a period. Stress is the biggest one, it plays havoc on your hormones, also weight loss or gain can mess up your cycle. If you have not had sex you can not be pregnant, but if you have had it and used precaution, you still can be pregnant. The pill, condoms ect are only a precaution not a 100% gurantee to keep you from getting pregnant. If you have had sex, please go and get checked. Hope this helps,

Its happened to me before. I went a month and a half. I knew I wasnt pregnant too! When I saw my Dr. He of course said it could be stress related or that I was having an irregular period. I wouldnt worry to much. The more you worry and stress the more prolonged it could go. If you know your not pregnant though you dont have anything to worry about.

Yeah sometimes... If I'm stressed. Usually during Finals. I wouldn't be worried, but go to your doctor anyway just to be on the safe side. I don't want to scare you but you could have a more serious problem.. but your period is heavily regulated by hormones.. so if you're going through a tough time in your life right now that could definitely effect it. :)

I usually would get my period within 3-4wks times, but there were times where i was going 5-6wks where I would get worried. The best answer is to take pregnancy test, I was on birth control and was still worried, so can't say normal or not!! dont risk it!

It may depend on how old you are. I've heard of it happening to very young girls just getting their periods and then there's menopause for mature women. Stress and Vigorous exercise can play a part too.

Its happened to me many times. Mostly when I get really stressed. If your under alot of stress thats probably the reason. Chill out for a couple days and I am sure it will come along.
