Even though Rise against the machines has been around longer, i still find that i can listen to more MY Chem songs than rise...so on that premise, My Chemical Romance wins my vote.

I want to correct one answer somebody said risae against the machine and thats Rage against the machine. NOW Go with rise against they are a good all around band and they are even better live

i would positively say 100% to my chemical romance. I saw the concert at the forum in Los Angeles. This concert rocked. GERARD sang really great. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE is a really great band to see at a concert. THE BLACK PARADE CD i would say is a great cd. When i bought it i only was familiar with welcome to the black parade. Now seeing them perform in concert two times in a row. I find that i keep listening to this cd nonstop. Cancer is a great yet sad song with beautifull lyrics.

never heard of upward thrust against, yet I do like AFI and MCR. yet I nevertheless have not heard their new cd's. So i like their older songs for now, on account that i don't comprehend any of their new stuff, apart from the singles they released.

i think they're both all right but i say rise against is way better!

I went & saw them & i thought that mcr was waay better.but they both did a good job.
