it is considered as the first REAL bird lived in the dinosaurs age.although it may not look like todays birds it resembles them in certain characteristics such as feathers, wings and porous bones.it didn't actually fly but glides from tree trunks to tree trunks.it was found it a coal mine in germany in 19th century.
did it support the theory of evolution?probably...by providing the missing link between birds and dinosaurs (reptiles).before it was found, scientists cannot explain properly how birds evolved from dinosaurs.at present scientist generally agree that birds really are the direct descendence of dinosaurs with recent discoveries made in china.

it is the FOSSIL of a bird that looks very similar to the fossil of a reptile.
so scientists thought that birds have evolved from reptiles i.e supporting the theory of evolution.

it was a giant bird.lived in jurassic time and apparently is the oldest thing to have had feathers
