you just need speed to me it seems like the short guyz are the best at playin because they are down low dribbling the ball and it is very hard to take the ball away from em, so speed with some trix can fool the taller ppl. Well that's what I think from experience......hope I helped

Simple. Short player needs to be fast and a good ball handler. Most of the time short player can only be played as the point guard which is understandable and it is a liability when it comes to defense, but look at the great shot players in the NBA, Mugsy, Spud (well he can really jump), Nate Robinson (he can too), etc ... they all very very fast and have good sense of where their teammates are. Also u need a fast first step towards the basket. This will lead u to a HIGH layup (note HIGH - u need to practice that - lobbing the ball higher) or an assist to ur teammates. Of course, you also need a good mid to long range jump shot as defender will think you want to pass the ball most of the time and leave u undefended.

"Point Guard". Pass and Speed! If you can shoot from long range, thats a plus. Not every good player scores, but the little guys better make the free throws.

Set up five cones across the basket, approximately five to fifteen ft clear of the basket. Take 10 photographs at every cone making use of best one million hand and simply hold doing that till you'll be able to make it virtually each time.

The best point guards also have great basketball IQ, if you have that you can go far. The point guard sees the open man, sets up the plays, if you have a natural ability to do that, plus physical skills, you can go far.

learn how to do a tear drop. also use your speed and quickness to get steals and make easy baskets. also a pull up jumper is the hardest shot to defend.
