are there some meanings about the cherry decoration hang in the car?

I'm wondering why people like to hang a pair of cherry on the mirror in their car.
does it mean anything??
btw, I saw that in Florida.

I am not sure but I have a pair of cherrys hanging in my car cause they are cute and they smell good [[its a air freshener!]]

They make the car smell nice, and they can look good if you buy the right ones.
