I love people from ALL races, and I think everyone is beautiful; however, it's something about we Black people who bring a special interest of intrigue, beauty, charisma, and intelligence to this nation--despite what the media or close-minded racists say. It takes a soldier of fine character to endure the trials and tribulations of the centuries of slavery...

As I said before, I have love for ALL races - God made you all beautiful and you are my brothers and sisters - but He created the ultimate masterpiece: the beautiful, exotic Black race.

So black people, tell me, what makes you proud of being black?

This is not intended to be racist, but I see so many people putting down on blacks and black people putting down on themselves. Be proud of who you are and the opportunity God gave you!

**I'm proud to be Black because I am very, very beautiful, very successful, independent, young black woman who's getting married to a strong Black man of my caliber July 7, 2007.**

I see "very" few intelligent answers on here. Some of you all obviously failed reading comprehension back in grade school.....

And I honestly don't give a damn about the racist, close-minded comments on here because it doesn't surprise me--I expect dumbasses to attempt to answer intelligent questions...

Keep the comments coming...most of you make me laugh at your ignorance...

I feel You WISE..

I am proud that I rise up over all the "white man's" expectations of me. Am proud that I am still getting educated when more than half of my friends have dropped out to be nothing. I luv my race and everything it represents. I'll never let THEM sweat me.

I am always learning the definition of being black with every passing day.

There is a film called "Freedom Song" concerning the civil rights movements in Missisippi during the 60's. One of the characters makes the statement that he is not proud to be Black, he is damn well conceited. This is how I feel as well.
I love being a member of this intelligent, beautiful, courageous, generous, open-minded, forgiving, creative race of people. I was born and raised in a nearly all-black neighborhood. I have also spent time in other communities, including an almost completely white area and have found that the camaraderie and ability to enjoy life in Black neighborhoods far exceeds that of any other place I have been.

I'm white and don't find your comment racist. Someone on here was discussing "white race" earlier and that concept is kind of defunct, in my opinion. So, white pride for many people is being proud of your heritage -- having a Russian background or an Icelandic one or a British one etc etc. Do you find it's the same being black -- i.e. do you have pride at having Fijian heritage or Ethiopian heritage or Tanzanian heritage? Or just in being black? Anyhow, I respect the pride someone has in their own race so long as they don't put down other races...And you haven't put down anyone. You'll get some pissed-off white folks who feel threatened by your question replying to this but who cares? They're racists.

ummmm I find it very interesting you would ask this question and not anyone else other than blacks to answer. As a matter of fact this is the type of stuff blacks complain about.

SHALL I counter this article With FOR WHITE people: What is it about White people?

That make them so beautiful and lovely looking etc etc. You see the point?

What if i said God's ultimate masterpeice was the beautiful and diverse White race??? You might not take it the same way as you expect me to take how you said it would you? I am not going to harp on you because what you said is true... but thinking your race is superior is no better than a person of another race feeling the same way.

i read your question and i am a white chick and i also love everyone.Jesus taught me this.i don't see color fat or skinny its whats inside of you that counts.i know a lot of black people Spanish Chinese and white people.its the rich people that hurt me the most.i have dealt with thousands of people and the most beautiful people i found out to be were the poorest people.because they are humble.Jesus said it is easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than it is for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven

Not supposed to be racist? Wow. I think you defined being racist. Why don't you change all of the words "Black" to "white" and then see how it sounds.
