Condoms are great in the shower. If you don't want to kill the mood in the shower I would suggest either birth control or maybe a spermicide, becareful though. I am not sure if spermicide will be as effective in water. There are many brands of "female condoms" that can't be seen, you don't want to kill the mood by seeing icky plastic everywhere. Diaphragms are a great for protection, plus they can't be seen. Just apply it before the shower and there will be no worries! Have Fun!!

its fine. the condom wont be exposed to enough heat long enough to matter, foam and gel are good ways to end up pregnant, i found out after i had a baby that foam is the least perfect method. hence a girl named amber. and the spermacide shouldnt be affected enough to really matter a lot, since the intention isnt to go in you, but i still dont think it would matter. as for lube,,,,,,,, take a little tube or bottle in the shower with you if you wish but water is also a lubricant of a sort, thats why you use it on saw blades when you cut stone. , best of all have fun.

i'm not a professional, but i do remember that my sex ed. teacher in school told us that heat can make the condom less effective...that probably goes for hot water (well, warm water) as well. i don't think using it in the shower would be a problem (as far as it getting wet or whatever), but you may want to just call and ask someone at a GYN office. they'll let you talk to the nurses over the phone.

I think your gf should definitley be on birth control and both of you should ensure you've been tested and are safe. If you trust each other and have been together a while, then you don't need to worry about a condom. If not, then it's a good idea to use one, but I don't know how well it will stay on,

you could get rid of your juice before you go in, and btw condoms aren't the only methods of birth control

you could use the foam, the gel, the ring, the cap, the pill, tie your tubes (well thats probably not something you want to do).

If you use a condom properly t hough, it should work

No of course it is not OK... (but the condom is a good idea).

You could slip over and break something or crack your head open. Sort these matters out on the kitchen table or somewhere there is less risk of personal injury!

You're safe- just make sure you've got nothing but watter going on. Soap could be uncomfortable and might damage the condom.

I usually use a shower cap but if a condom can fit over your head,by all means go for it.

Go for it.

Birth control pill would be a better solution though.

Ohh make sure to keep lubrication jel handy .... water washes away things.
