640x480 is pretty small for screen resolutions. Maybe you have it backwards.

nicely, if i'm examining the specs suited...they the two exceedingly lots stink. It feels like digicam #a million rather shoots at a decrease selection and interpolates it upward to realize 640 x 480! CIF stands for elementary image format or elementary Intermediate format and it pertains to television selection, this is below obtainable immediately for digital cameras. of those 2 awful cameras...#2 seems to supply video, whilst #a million does no longer. otherwise, #a million interpolates the image to realize 640x480 whilst #2 has the comparable length sensor yet might require you to manuallly upsize in case you needed 640 x 480. do no longer spend greater suitable than $15 on the two digicam. heavily.

640x480 is the most basic resolution you will get if you dont configure (add the drivers) your video card.

Once you update the video drivers (check thechipset and search on Yahoo for them), you will have the chance to modify the resolution/colors at will, up-to the total memory available on your video card.
