1. Not every attempt, even when conditions are favorable, ends up with conception.
2. Just because your husband has a child, it doesn't mean he is bursting with fertility every day.
3. Give it time. Two months is nothing.

Tracking your fertility signs is a great start! Sometimes it can take a while, even w/ "perfect" timing. Hang in there.
BTW, since you are charting your fertility signs, you can be fairly sure of the general time fram of ovulation. It's not exact, of course, but close enough! Remember to have intercourse everyday of fertile CF (especially EWCF) and for 2 days past the start of your thermal shift. Whoever thinks it's impossible t ovulate past Day 17 clearly hasn't done enough research on female fertility.
Some things to check....
Cervical fluid. If you do not have a lot of CF or if you only have a day or so of it, timing could be even more important. Not having enough EWCF could definitely delay conception (took my husband and I 8 months to figure out I had poor quality CF before we conceived our first child). Make sure you are getting enough water for your body weight. Avoid anithystamines and decongestants in the several days before O as they can dry CF. If you need to boost your CF, you can try plain robitussin, green tea, grapefruit juice, Vit A foods (like a couple of raw carrots or a spinach salad) daily, real raw egg whites or a product called Preseed. You want to make sure you have intercourse when you are having your most fertile CF.
Luteal phase problems. Is your luteal phase (time between ovulation and the next period) normal? It should be 12-16 day long. If it is less than 12 days, it might be making it diffucult to carry a pregnancy. If it's 10 days or less, it would be extreamely difficult to carry a pregnancy. Vit B complex can sometimes work wonders for a short LP. So can progesterone supplments if low progesterone is your issue.
How are your temps? Low preO temps can indicate hypothryroid problems. Not all thyroid probems are detectable on the standard tests. Hypothyroid or adrenal insufficiency can cause subfertility. Low or erratic post O temps (especially when they dip below coverline) can indicate low progesterone. You'd want to be sure of a low progesterone issue before supplementing though as it can cause problems w/ your cycle otherwise. High temps can indicate hyperthyroid.
If you are not already, find a discussion board to post your charts for support. Ovusoft has a cycle help forum. There are many eperienced women there who happily answer questions and can give cycle advice.

DAY 40?!? NO WAY?!? Sorry but someone has steered you wrong. There is no way you ovulate on day 40...just not happening. Normal ovulation is day 14. Not everyone is normal so could be day 11-17 in general. BUT 40 ...NO WAY! Normal cycle is 28 days. But to ovulate on day FORTY you would have to have about an 80 day cycle...which means you only have a period almost every 3 months...which is just again NO WAY! Plus you said you tried the last 2 months so your cycle is much smaller than 80 days. The first day of your period is considered day 1 then again "normal" ovulation is day 14, so counting your first day of period it would be 14 days from there. Best way to find out exactly what day you ovulate is to get a $10 ovulation test at walmart. Then you will know basically when you ovulate each month. You want to have sex ON ovulation day or possibly the day before...not 2 or 3 days prior! GOOD LUCK!

Do it more often. Using your temperature etc. to determine ovulation is not an exact science. You did not have sex on Ovulation Day which greatly affected your chances. Next time try days 39, 40 and 41; and twice a day if possible to ensure there are always fresh healthy sperms to meet the egg.

you're no longer PREGNANT. you could't get pregnant 2 days in the previous your era starts. you're no longer fertile then. you could in effortless terms get pregnant from intercourse interior approximately 5 days in the previous you ovulate and interior sooner or later after, and no person ovulates right in the previous their era. have faith me, and don't pay attention to all of us who says which you "ought to be" until eventually you had intercourse at different circumstances. given which you're putting this in the adolescent area, you're TOO youthful to be having intercourse, without or with condoms. Please supply up, after which you heavily isn't petrified of being pregnant anymore. Edit: there is not any EGG and there is not any toddler. you're no longer pregnant.

Sperm only live 24 to 48 hours. Have sex on days 39 and 40 next time. It only takes sperm 90 seconds to get into the falopian tubes and ready to fertilize. You'll probably have boys that way, too. If you want girls, day 38-39.

Nothing is wrong with you sweet, you are just missing the goals.
Wait a bit longer and keep trying. Just because you are having sex when you think you are fertile, it doesn't guarantee you will get pregnant.
