Yeah! I'd have to check with the wife, but I'd like to chew the fat with ole Jimma. And the money goes toward doing some good. Hell yeah!

I guess the money going toward a good cause bit, doesn't cut it with some of these brainwashed haters.

Yes only if I knew that ALL the money would go into it and not just 15% of it like most charities give to the cause with 85% being eaten up by administration costs(or in many cases in the benefactors pockets).

I donate to Habitat for Humanity each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Mr. Carter and his spouse have been energetic in that corporation on condition that he left the White domicile. they have helped build thousands of residences for the undesirable international....

Yes I would, there is nothing wrong with helping others. If that is a way that I could help make a difference in my community then I would attend in a heart beat. The question is then thrown back at you. Would you make a difference in your community by spending 120.00 to go to a luncheon with Jimmy Carter if it would help benefit the less fortunate?

Could I pay $500 not to go with Carter. I remember his four years regretfully His constant pot shots and Nobel Prize for opposing Bush doesn't help his cause with me.

I'd donate the $120 to habitat and skip the lunch. I hate to admit that I voted for that idiot. What a mistake that was.

He was a terrible president, and now he is a terrible ex-president.
