some time ago i heard someone saying that men are "afraid" of strong and smart women, so you agree? do you think that within family men feel interior to their wives who make larger half of family income and occupy a higher/ more prestigious position at work?

Personally, I enjoy the company of a woman who is intelligent, independent, and has goals in her life. I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with a girl who just wants to sit around the house all day watchin soap-operas.

I find smart, determined and strong women to be very sexy. I like a woman with attitude and ambition, Just don't expect me to keep up all the time, I'm just a man. I won't care if you make more scratch than I as long as you don't care if I spend some of it on chrome for OUR Hot Rod. Didn't even know you were going to have a Hot Rod, did ya?

They all say they want an independant woman but the truth is, that is far from the truth. If they admit they don't want an independant woman then it exposes them as insecure and sort of spineless.......too weak for the challenge of one who is smart and won't be pushed around. Only a man with a really good self esteem will appreciate and enjoy an intelligent & successful woman. Guys with 'issues' will slowly bring her down to make them feel better about themselves.

SOME men feel intimidated by women who can make more money than they can--this has actually been the cause of a couple of divorces in people I know. It is really silly, as who cares which party makes the most money--as long as there is enough to pay the bills and whatever...

Different types of men like different types of women. In general though, I don't think anyone likes a partner that thinks they are superior. I don't think your position matters in the business world, but the position you allow your spouse to hold in your relationship is the key. It's about love and respect, not about I.Q. points or job titles.

Men who fear strong and smart women resent the fact that she has other things in her life (career, friends, family, possessions) which do not include him. They want the woman to be dependent on him, because he is so inferior himself
