If I need to be honest with myself, the answer is yes, and recently I've been thinking about where should I hide it before I die so my children don't find it. Ha! :-)
Oh, I just had to go back to edit this answer as I see where your question also asks what the gadget is. Since I could get in trouble if I put the actual answer here, let me just say it is a toy of some kind.

My gadget is purple, sparkly and lights up in 4 different colors.
