...curious...Since it is a "global" war, where else besides Iraq and Afghanistan are we fighting? If we had stationed most of our troops in Afghanistan rather than Iraq, by now that war would have been over. So.
Besides Iraq and Afghanistan, where else is this "global war on terror being 'fought?" that is to say, since it is after alll, at least given Bush's definition, a "global" war. Will it wind up here in the United States?

Wow, seriously? You want a list of countries?

Let's see: Somalia, Yemen, UAE, The Philippines, Canada, England, Japan, Mongolia, Pakistan (and India), forget it. This will take all night!

There have been arrests, shoot outs, and bombings all over the world! We have troops in 130 countries, 750 bases world wide! But we aren't doing all the fighting by ourselves, of course.

And the "war" started in about 1993, in Somalia, when Al-Qaida supported fighters loyal to Mohamed Adid shot down U.S. helicopters while we were there on a humanitarian mission. Some say it began a couple of years before that.

Americans only woke up to the fact on 911. And it won't end in Iraq, that's for certain.

honestly, (and im not saying i wish this hadn't of happened, just not the way it did and under the leadership it did) ever since Gorbachev left office in the Soviet Union and the Soviet Union crumbled into Russia.

Ever since McDonald's opened in Moscow, and Russia became extremely corrupt and capitalist; while holding socialist morales and laws.

Ever since, it has unlawfully and corruptly provided Iran, Iraq, Venezuala, China, etc.. weapons which fueled wars and tensions between countries like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Kuwait, etc..

It has been going on far longer than Iraq or Afghanistan. And, if I recall correctly, it has already been here in the US.
We just weren't paying attention.

King George needed a rallying issue to point to and say "Hey look folks, we're fighting a war on these evil baddies to save america, apple pie, and chevrolet" He got his war, but it blew up in his and his supporters faces. Now sanity has taken back control and it's about time.

Bush is the worse commander in chief this nation has ever seen. I don't think even he knows what he is doing.
