What were your high school days like? Were there a lot of competition? How did cliques treat each other? Was there a spot for loners? Give some anecdotes. And tips would be appreciated for I will be going to HS next year.

There were more cliques then ever than finally got along senior year. Be yourself, and try not to offend anyone

THey are wonderful.thier was a lot of competition and buzz with homecoming, prom, cutest girl cutest boy all of that. the cliques don't pay attention to the other ones it's like you don't exist. I would say no but the loners don't ever socialize so how wld we pay attention.a memory that just Happened is geek day it was part of spirit week me and my bff dressed up and she had the grannys glasses pants jaked up it was so funny. tips dont bother the seniors and the seniors won't bother you thier too hyped up to be worrying about freshmens and just be yourself

my school just had football competition, there were some loners it was a really big school with over 5000 people. dont slack of in any year than your senior year will be a piece of cake

My advice to you don't get involved with cliques.If you do you want graduate.Don't hang with girls there nothing but trouble.Don't let anybody press you into sex.Don't change the way you are.If somebody pick on you ignore them they just jealous.Keep your head in the books.Don't be a school drop out.Don't wear makeup.Don't hang around any body negative.Found somebody positive to hang around.The reason I'm telling you this because that's the way my high school was.The girl didn't want to learn.They got pregnant at a young age.They drop out of school.The guy that got them pregnant graduate.And went to college.Its better to be a loner.Its going to be girl who want to fight you.My advice to you is to learn karate.

I am a tenth grader and there is a section for whites, asians, loners, emos, latinos, friends, sluts, losers, gangsters, and special people. My advice is stick with your friends and try and make good friends and DONT get invovled with people opposite you (EX: dont hang out with sluts if you are clean). Just enjoy school cuz its really cool (HS that is). Dont be afraid either cuz as long as you have your friends school wont be scary for you.

Yes there were a lot of "cliques" but the trick is to treat everybody nicely. I was never mean to anybody and therefore nobody was ever mean to me.

It was exactly like those movies where everyone looks like they're in their mid-twenties and something terribly meaningful and life-changing happens every spring.
No, it wasn't. It was pretty much the opposite.
