Is being able to urinate with an erection normal?

Hi all,

I heard that it's not supposed to be normal for guys to be able to urinate when they have an erection, however, I can in the middle of the night if I wake up from my sleep. Is this normal? Does this mean that there is something wrong with me?

NOTE: Guys only answer please. This is a serious question.

Well, I can only speak for myself, but I can urinate with some difficulty if I have an erection. What happens when you have an erection is a "valve" switches to block urine and allow semen during intercourse. It may not be a good idea to force it, but I'm sure it's relatively normal... either that or we both need to see a doctor.
