In your opinion. What makes a wife ideal and how must she be?

"Behind every good man there's a great woman" or something like that. I believe that an ideal woman isn't necessarily 'perfect' in the sense. However, she is her man's foundation to his home who sticks by him in the good times AND the bad times. As far as a 'trophy wife', I know that I may not be Miss Universe as far as beauty, but my fiancee shows me off to everyone as if I were his trophy. Why you may ask? Because he's PROUD to have me as his future wife. To me, that's an ideal wife.

Here are the requirements to be a "perfect spouse." (husband or wife).
1. Be honest
2. Get to know your partner's desires and try to meet those to the best of your ability (but don't injure yourself)
3. Allow your partner some space from time to time, but be there when needed.
4. share the workload around the house equally and without complaint
5. contribute to the family in equal proportion
6. Don't be jealous of previous relationships your partner had.
7. Continue to grow emotionally as a person...we all have room for improvement.
8. Be willing and able to COMPROMISE.
9. If you argue, make up, move on, and get over it.
10. Love your partner in every sense of the word.

An interesting question, because any man who tries to answer it directly, is subject to be revealing their degree of arrogance and egotism. The best traits for being an ideal wife are the same for being the ideal husband --> they must be compatible to one another, have an open line of communication, satisfy each others needs and wants, and be secure in the knowledge that they love one another. To me, each person has their 'rules' on what constitutes compatibility.

an ideal wife is someone who can back up their man, share the responsiblity in the financial world, provide the best well kept children, and also be a trophy wife to show off to all his friends.

FOR AN *** WOULD BE:
a woman who can pay half the bills, give kids, lots of sex, work full time, take care of the kids, have more sex, then finally, at the end of the day, clean and cook for the royal husband who is drinking beer and watching football.
FOR A REAL MAN:
A womans who loves him and makes a good team with.

Depends who's gonna judge you. If your man really loves you, you'll always be perfect for him.
People who really like you won't judge you, on the other hand people who judge you and expect you to be perfect, are cynical and its best for you if you DO NOT try to please them, instead do what you really like to do and what makes you happy,.
