Elbit Systems: Israeli-made drones in action in Iraq, Afghanistan

By The Associated Press

Small Israeli-made pilotless planes are gathering intelligence for U.S.-led forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, the manufacturer said in a statement Monday.

Elbit Systems, one of Israel's leading defense electronics companies, said the little Skylark can be carried and operated by a single soldier, covering an area within a range of 6 miles day or night, the company said. It did not give details of its exact size or weight.

Skylark is operational and currently deployed in the global war on terror in Israel, Iraq and Afghanistan, the statement said. It described the Skylark as suited for close range, beyond-the-next hill, counter-terror missions.

The question was about MONEY. Regardless of the 'drone', or what it does, the question was about the money. LIKE HOW MUCH DID THE U.S. PAY FOR IT --AND WHATEVER WE PAID, WAS IT OVER AND ABOVE WHAT ISRAEL RECEIVES AS A MATTER OF COURSE EVERYTIME SHE ASKS FOR IT. The question is very clear.
And no, I don't hate Israel. I dislike her tactics as I have a right to do.
I imagine many dislke the tactics of many in the Middle East, Persia, Russia, Germany, etc. and even the United States.

The rat-bastards should give them to us for free. Ecksemmess does not understand the question, and besides that cannot spell. Notyou, laying under me, does not comprehend the article either and misses the point of the question entirely.

Read the first sentence of this report again. They are collecting valuable information for the US. By using drones, they are not risking lives. This information will let us know what is happening in countries that support terrorism. What is wrong with that. Or do you just hate Israel so much you have to criticize everything they do?

well, since most Muslim countries consider Israel to be America's pet Mideast pit bull it's in Israels best interest to help America protect them from their many enemies. they might be able to get away with treating the Palestinians as subhuman but Lebanon has ties to stronger countries.

other than the Christian concept that America somehow owes Israel our money and loyalty I can't figure out why my tax dollars are supporting that vicious genocidal government.
