Seen one? I AM one. The electronic nature of the internet makes it easy to manifest myself using words. I thought everyone knew that.

Well I didn't exactly see her, but felt her presence and saw things she did.
About 20 yrs ago a group of us were playing cards. The host lost her girlfriend/roommate a week or two before her wedding.
It was a nice warm summer evening and we had windows open front and back.
Everyone felt a little strange most of the nite with her around.
There was a nice breeze flowing from the back thru the apartment towards the front.
The back door, which opened towards the inside, kept on closing all night long and we all took turns opening it back up.
The way the breeze was going, it should have kept the door open all nite long.
The host's roommate was obviously chilled by the breezes and would close the door about every half hour or so.
Nothing really scary but it was very eerie to know there was a spirit in the room with us.

My parents house is haunted. From the ground floor, you can hear footsteps of someone above you when no one is upstairs, and from upstairs, you can hear furniture being moved around when no one is downstairs! Several people (even those that have not heard that strange things happen in our house) have seen a woman walking down the stairs in the house, and also have heard a man talking to them. Things also get misplaced a lot- it tends to be remotes e.g. air conditioners / tv remotes will go missing, and then will turn up in a huge pile in an obscure cupboard! I have even felt someone move my leg in my sleep (it woke me up), and will not sleep alone there! In the tv room, there is a storage room located behind the tv screen, and the door that leads to it is next to the screen. While watching tv, the door will open automatically several times (this cannot be explained by wind as you have to turn the knob in order to get the door to open! And i have tried to push the door from various angles to see if the latch is faulty, and it is not.)The house was built on an empty plot of land, and we have no history of the land. I am just glad i don't live there anymore!

I've never seen a ghost, but when I was staying at my grandma's house last year, my sis, my cousin, and I were all "sleeping" out in the living room. Now my grandma has two cats and a dog, but her dog was in her bedroom with her and the cats were asleep in the dining room. Anyway, we girls were talking and suddenly from the kitchen, which is right next to where we were, there came this huge BANG as all the snacks we brought were basically shoved off the counter onto the floor with NOBODY in the kitchen! My cuz swears it was the ghost of a good friend of hers just letting us know that he was watching us, since he didn't know my sis or me. It was just his way of letting us know he was there. Still, it was EXTREMELY terrifying!

One night about two months ago I was asleep in my recliner and I woke up cause I heard something thumping on the outside of my house. It was a windy, cold night and I thought the power had gone off cause I couldn't get the lights to come on and it was pitch black everywhere. I was hoping the noise was just the wind but the thump, thumping was moving down the side of the house -- slowly. I had goose bumps the size of golf balls -- then there was a tapping sound on the front window. Tap - tap-tap...I made my way over to the window, took a breath and pulled the curtains apart. There was a big green face pushed onto the glass, staring at me! I fell over backward and peed my pants -- then I heard the laughing outside. Turns out it was my moron ex brother inlaw and another pal of mine with a glow in the dark halloween mask on a stick. They had flipped the outside power breakers so it would be real dark and creepy. I was so glad it wasn't a real ghost I didn't even get mad.
But I DID get even!

Last Halloween, my friends begged me to bring my Ouija board to the Halloween party we were going to. A few hours into the party I brought it out, but we weren't having any luck. Someone suggested we turn the lights off and light a candle so we did. A few minutes later we got an answer. Of course we ask questions only someone not playing knows the answer to prove we weren't moving it. We found out it was a 6-year-old girl named Hannah had lived in the house next door. She said she died of pneumonia in her house 26 years before, but we couldn't get an exact date. Me, being stupid, asked her if she could show herself or move something. For people who don't know, you are NEVER supposed to do such a thing with a Ouija board, because it gives the spirit permission to leave the board, into your house. Anyway to our suprise she answered, "mirror." We weren't sure what that meant, but one of my guy friends thought it would be fun to bring a mirror out and scare us by saying he saw stuff that wasn't there. He comes downstairs with a large, full-body mirror and we asked the spirit if she was still there, and it answered, once again, "mirror." We probably stared at the mirror for twenty minutes, waiting, when the candle went out. We heard a cracking noise, and when we finally got the candle re-lit, we stared in disbelief at the mirror. There was a crack in the mirror, but instead of being pushed in, it pushed out toward us. It was shaped as a perfect upside down cross that was about 4in by 10in. We asked the spirit if she caused it, but there was no answer. The candle went out again and I felt an intense burning on my lower back. We found a flashlight so as to not disturb our progress with the board and we found fresh scratch marks on my back. I was bleeding, so I let someone else replace my spot on the board. I went upstairs with a few people to find a first aid kit, when someone screamed downstairs. We ran down as fast as we could and this girl I didn't know was lying on the ground. They said she just passed out, so she went home. (We later found out she had to got to the hospital for a concusion, but there was no way she could have hit her head on anything and she was sitting on the couch when she passed out) I showed the people on the board how to close the session and force the spirits back, and we all went home. When I was falling asleep that night I could sense someone else in my room. My cat was freaking out and my Ouija board fell off the shelf. When I woke up, it had split evenly in two pieces and there were burnt marks on it...I threw it away immediatly.
