A pineapple upside down cake was the very first thing that our group made in my 7th grade, home economics class back in 1964. Would you believe, that I have never had a slice of this type of cake since in all these years? But your invitation sounds awfully tempting!

I would, but for some dumb reason, the only way that I like pineapple is on a pepperoni pizza...
