I just want to know how many women out there have a good man that supports their career what the hell is silly about that. Many men cannot handle a strong, driven, and independent woman!!!!!!

I make a whole lot more than my husband. For a long time he didn't even work, we agreed that he would stay home with the baby and be a "full time dad". He doesn't have a problem with the situation nor do I. It works out for the both of us.

Statistically, women make 20% less than men on the same job. This doesn't answer your original question but it means that for a woman to make more than her husband, two possibilities. One is that her job commands more money and therefore more talents. The other is the man's job doesn't pay a lot (such as a college professor or government job) but he is no less smart.

In job categories where women have to compete with men, such as marketing and management, women in those positions usually can't stand their men to be weaker. It is about losing face. These so called type A go-getters have no patience of others and don't think twice about stepping on others to advance. Therefore, women of this group cannot have men who make less than they are.

And by reading other columns above, you can see how intolerant of women about men who make less or not working. They despise men who are weaker. Funny how that happens. Men who make more and committed to their jobs, women complain that they are bad lovers or not care about their families.

That is why I teach my son don't ever assume women play fair and equal. He must not be perceived as the weak one. So study up.

I make quite a bit more money than my husband. He knows there's no way around it, so he just accepts the fact that i'm better educated and have better chances.
BUT he still pays for the home and all that, and still manages to give me some allowance.
So i guess it's Not at all a problem!

I make A LOT more than my husband but he just couldn't deal with my success so he bailed. He clames he is a apartment dweller and just can't live with me and our newborn in our house with all our nice stuff.
...What an idiot if you ask me!

I simply had a higher paying job than he had. My employer paid me more to do my job than his employer paid him to do his.
