I really need a good picture of the Spidey spider, not the movie one, but the one from the comics with the ovalish body. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Google, Yahoo, Marvel, various Spidey fan sites don't produce the particular image I am looking for. I appreciate those of you actually trying to help, but I've tried those and still can't find the correct one. All I get are the movie symbols which are different from the Amazing Spider-Man symbol and even then I don't get clear results. Also I am not looking for the Venom symbol.

Spiderman has had so many different symbols since he was first created. The best way to find the particular one you're looking for is to type "Spiderman symbol" into google and then press "Images" instead of "Search". This will show you the hundreds of different symbols Spiderman has used through the years and the new ones created for Spiderman 3.

Offline: c omic book shop , posters, comics, etc. Matters what you are going to use it for too, you can also google "Spider-Man symbol stencil" and use an outline to draw your own picture I supppose

OK so go to the local comic book store
and by a spidey comic thats prob your best bet.
mind you this reg. you leaving your lap top or PC
to do this and perhaps looking in the yellow pages "gasp"
or try E-bay.

do an image search for 'spider-man symbol'....it'll generate many.
