that first reply was not very nice.
any how
do you really think a species would evolve in a way that members of the same gender have sex? obviously not, or else the species numbers would dwindle.

I will give you a fair answer: homosexuality in its most basic form, is natural. Sexuality of ANY species on this earth have shown some signs of it, due to how the carbon-based lifeforms work. See, homosexuality is not viewed as "weird" or "abnormal" to other creatues, as they are just using it as a way to "get off". Now, homosexuality on the level of a boy/girl born that was suppose to be the opposite sex, is unnatural. See, if a guy was suppose to be a girl by genetic issues, or just the wrong sex in the end of the estrogen levels being higer than testoterone, it is an abnormality. Human sexuality is a rather vast thing, despite how many people think it is just one plane.
I think personally that homosexuality is both natural in some cases, and unnartural in others, but that does nto make it wrong, or a misfit part of life.

Yes - up to a point. Homosexuality is neither 'natural' nor 'unnatural', any more than 'heterosexuality' is. It is discursively constructed. Go look it up. But:
1) Being Canadian is not 'natural' either, but it is something one cannot help. It is a label placed on people by society because of a certain trait that is not of one's own choosing.
2) Just because something is natural, it is not necessarily right. Morality and naturalness have no necessary correlation.

well you'd have to define natural to me. Homosexuality has been around as long as there has been a human species. How much more natural than that do you need?

No, homophobes have been proven wrong so many times, it will make your head go around. Try reading the DSM-IV-TR for starters.

Well, its not natural. Its an anomoly designed to (probably) keep us from over-reproducing. Now, I am personally bi, so don't start giving me thumbs down... but from a scientific point of view it is not natural. However, from a "human", moral point of view, it is perfectly normal.

If it were not natural, then it would not appear in nature. But there are examples of hundreds of animals (mammals, birds, fish, and other vertibrates) that engage in homosexual mating, including monogamous or serial monogamous mating.
The links below details a list of many (hundreds) of documented homosexuality among animals.

You are correct. It's a combination of mental, social, and emotional imbalances. Every so called test to prove it's natural has been crushed by normal science.

Why do people that state they don't care less about "the gays" always need our opinion?
The topic isn't interesting either, it's quite trite.

it happens in the animal kingdom. They (homophobes) have pressured the govt. not to fund research proving this further, but it happens. If it occurs in the natural world, it is by definition natural.
